I really enjoyed it but didnt quite get the why he goes that desperate when he could just be humble and tell his wife... and get money from their rich father inlaw, but the thing that annoyed me the the most of all the lil things was the end did he go in? P.s the cop was cool wonder if they ever stayed friends?
The father-in-law was not a very nice guy. Always looking down on Bill, like he wasn't good enouhg for his daughter. When the little kid says he wants to go bowling like his dad, the guy tells him he should practice golf instead and forget about bowling.
Also, he is always giving money to Susan, and Bill hates it. It's a power play; he gives money to show how superior he is. If Bill had accepted the money (his wife did, not him), he would probably never see the end of it. Also Bill is too proud to do it.
Now, I guess you would hate to have a father-in-law like that, wouldn't you? I would.
But the cop... I don't know, man. That'd be a really awkward situation.
