Oh you Landon haters, are your memories really short?
Oh you Landon haters! You love to pick Landon apart. That poor, innocent, Katherine just cant get a break. Boo, hoo, hoo. Sniffle, sob.
Give me a break.
Have all of you Katherine fans forgotten the history of Katherine's behavior? She was not slated to be a regular on the show.
She stumbled into her role through association, and sex with Thomas.
Thomas was not the only one she bedded in her pursuit of screen time. She had slept with three cast members before she scored serious interest from Thomas.
She goes to a show party with one man, Whitney, and left with another, Thomas. This is rude, uncool, hurtful, careless, no class behavior on her part. No matter how much she liked Thomas, a lady or woman with class would have left with the person she came with, and, discretely arranged (without her date knowing or hurting his feelings or ego) to meet with Thomas at another time. She clearly was not discreet about her behavior, and it came back to bite her.
Going forward season one: In the blink of an eye, pregnancy scare number one with Thomas. False positive, no pregnancy, a narrowly escaped unplanned pregnancy. Unfortunately, no lessons learned.
Next episode, BOOM, pregnancy number one and a story line on the show.
Before you haters race to Katherine's defense or say anything about Thomas's part in this, I would like to defend my opinion with my own truth. When I was Katherine's age (in 1981), I took care of all my own birth control (and it was not as easy to get as it is today), and did not depend on the man or leave things to chance! You know, the responsible adult thing to do. Surprise, I did not end up accidentally pregnant.
By the time Landon first came on the show (2nd season), Katherine already had one baby and was creating conflict on the show. The first cast weekend getaway that Landon organized, Katherine went postal on Whitney, then took off and got lost. She spent a drunken night with Craig on the beach. Meanwhile, she worried everyone else there about her well being and location. Upon her return, the group was stunned by reports all over the news media that Katherine's hairdresser/girlfriend was accusing Thomas of domestic violence and assault against her. Upon hearing this, Katherine not only was unworried, but also in no hurry to get back to town and stand by Thomas. All this in the middle of Thomas's run for political office!
Cut to after the election, that unfortunately, Thomas lost. At the post election party, Katherine embarrassed herself with the "F-U" and "it's our party so F--k off" speech to Landon, which was filmed and aired. Landon did nothing to deserve this verbal attack.
Katherine's behavior was very immature, impatient, and over the top whenever attending any filmed group events. Katherine is in NO WAY a victim here, and she created the hostile environment she is objecting to now.

...new season (2),
...wait for it,
...Surprise,
...wait for it,
...BAM,
... Katherine is pregnant again!
They only got together for four days and behold, new baby on the way. By now Katherine, you know how babies are made, why no birth control?
Of course with this new development, the show producers and editors salivate, and, surprise, decide to construct a phony plot line about poor Katherine.
Sniff,sniff, tears, she tries so hard to mend those bridges she burned. But the other cast members have had enough.

Pity party for Katherine, stage left, stage right, center stage.
Bleeeeech!!!!
Come on people, Katherine does not burn bridges, she napalms them out of existence!
And it is so obvious that Katherine does not even like these people anyway! Duh!
Lets tell the truth, if not for her attempts to stay relevant and get screen time, she would not give a hoot about any of these people.
Bleeech again!
I am so Katherine Drama-ed out. Sick of this overused device. Please find another story line.
So, in conclusion, obviously Katherine is jealous of Landon and the attention she gets from Thomas. i get it. Is Landon responsible for Katherine's pain and disappointment. No! Thomas is the one Katherine has a beef with.
Lets stop the Landon bashing already!
Sour grapes Katherine. Keep your mouth shut, your wasting my time!
I finish with this post with a quote from an exchange between Katherine and Landon from the latest reunion episode. It kind of says it all:
Katherine to Landon: "you sleep with everything out there".
This is not based on any real or seen on screen evidence.
Point zero Katherine,
Lies about others does not win your case.
Landon back to Katherine: "you have slept with everyone on these couches"
This is true, it all happened, and was verified on national TV.
Score the win Landon.
