I'm calling it as Francine ...

Haven't seen it yet, got a few minutes. But I've thought it was Francine from day one. Here are all my reasons.

* She's the only one who's had a consistently good product every time. Even her worst bakes were edible and either looked right, tasted right, or were completely right. Even if it wasn't 100%, it was always something presentable. Slow and steady wins the race.

* Even before this thing hit air it was promo'd with her as the focal point. They want you to get on board with the winner by the time they win, so the logical thing is to promote them heavily beforehand so that you already have them in your mind as a positive point. She was focused on positively with just promos, and she was the only one in any promos I saw. They're not going to push an edit in a promo for someone who doesn't win or isn't interesting. No one else left is remotely as interesting.

* Her edit is very positive. Competitive. Kind. Intelligent. Likable.

* None of the others have had nearly as much focus other than Brian, who is the only source of real human conflict. No way will he win, his overall bakes have not been strong. Some brilliance, for sure. Deserved star baker last week. But not consistent. I suppose Darlene could win it having won star baker twice in a row. But she's not as consistent.

So, that's my guess. Only now I hear it's started and it's breads again. Rerun? I thought finale! Must figure out what's up.
