The Geologist

ok Sooooo, how in the Hell do they keep this so called Gold Findjng Geologist. Like the dude can't find gold at all, everything he says has gold in it doesn't. Oh and if you hafta put a magnifying glass on to look for super tiny specks of gold, it's not worth it, it would cost more money on gas to power things than it would be getting a return. I think these people would be better off asking Parker from Gold Rush to help them find gold, at least he could find it, this dude has no clue at all

Oh and if they found a huge ruby deposit and then the government seized its claim, why would you go back and try to find more riches, as the government would probably seize it as well.

Doesn't make sense at all

reply

Now they're finding gold so small you can't see it without a magnifying glass. Wow!!!

I wonder why the Government took their ruby claim from them. Would be funny if the gov just waited until they found anything each time and then stepped in to take it

reply

That's not true, they often show the pan to the camera and the gold is visible to the naked eye. I think the magnifying glass is used to see if there is additional fine gold, and to better discern pyrite from gold.

reply

Look both teams supposedly panned gold that would give the palmranki's boners, yet lab tests said only one spot was viable? The one...from the guy...who tends to disappear...for great lengths of time. Salting samples goes clear back to Bonanza episodes.

I don't think these guys could find Godzilla in a movie theater showing Godzilla flicks!

Here's my prediction for season two..more drama, less gold.

Eric does not inspire anything good. He's a petty, nervous, arrogant, you know what.

It's rare to see anyone made so insecure just by the possibility that co-workers might see merit in another worker's ideas.

I know two men with substantial mineral claims. They both think Eric is a "scared and phony loser", and that's a quote.

I think they nailed it.

reply

Don't forget their oil deposit that Eric thinks is worth 'hundreds of millions of dollars'!

reply

Yes. I want to see the sideways hard rock oil drilling derrick that extracts Texas Tea from a greasy cliff on a 12 sq mile rock in the middle of Baffin Bay.

.

reply

to be fair, i think after putting your samples through a rockcrusher you might need a magnifyingglass..
