I am baffled that wives and husbands cook like this everyday!!
It's a stupid show. Nobody cares what these cooks do.

shareI love to cook. I cook for my family almost every night. It's very rare that we eat out. I may not plate my food as fancy as the home cooks on "Food Fighters" do, but I do take pride in what I serve my family.

I cook everyday except Saturday. On Saturday we go out or order in. This is so I can rest up for the Sunday dinner I prepare each week.
During the week, it's just my husband and I. EVERY Sunday, our two sons, their wives and children join us.
Because I cook so often, what gets my goat is how they give the contestants 30 minutes to make chicken & dressing or some such. I have NEVER made chicken & dressing in 30 minutes and wouldn't want to. Flavors need time to marinate. It's just foolish. share
