This is showing on the food network in the UK and tbh its unbearable...are all americans like this?

Over acting and over the top that they seem fake. the last one there was a women who had a sob story about how she had to sell some of her belonging to pay bills she let out 1 tear then BAM back to the stereotypical fake american jumping around being cocky (thinking shes better than anyone) and overacting.

I think this is exactly how most of the world sees america fake over acting and irritating

There are 350+ million Americans. Why would you assume all Americans are like anything?

Are people in the UK all like those depicted on TV?

I don't trust people who don't like pets and I don't trust people who pets don't like.

I watched this "show" on TLC channel & although you really can't generalize all Americans, you have some really good points. How loony you should be to believe that this fake & crappy TV cook contest is actual for real and how is possible that this is so popular in the USA that they already made a 2nd season??? And why they have to torture all these poor people with actual cooking at all? I mean, we're all knowing that these amateurs are very poor, so they should give them charity money directly, without forcing them too cook! That's just horrible think to do!
