Just saw the preview. Based on real location?

I just watched the preview on Sy Fy. It didn't tell much. But I wonder if the movie's location is based on a real place, the so-called forest of suicide somewhere near Mount Fuji, Japan. For many, many years and to this day, for reasons unknown, Japanese people, near and far, travel to this forest to commit suicide. They often set up a tent or campsite first, spend some time in the forest then off themselves. Oddly, no one seems to leave suicide notes telling why they chose to end their lives. Some of the suicides leave some marker or momento of themselves but still no farewell letter or notes. Still there's been no reports of ghost in the forest.

This piece of crap was filmed entirely in Vancouver. Anything produced by SyFy is always garbage.

I seen that documentary, very creepy to know that a place like that really exists.

Reminds me, in the U.S. its the Gokden Gate Bridge. There's a documentary about it called The Bridge.

Terrible things Lawrence. You've done terrible things.
