About 30 years ago Jason Beghe was in a movie called Monkeyshines. It's a cheesy, but fun, horror film about a man and his monkey. You can catch it on YouTube if you're interested.

First, since this movie was made back in 1988 we get an idea of what Voight would have looked like at eh beginning of his career. And yes, he was pretty hot. That voice is the same except it got much more gravelly over the years. Maybe Jason Beghe smokes/smoked?

Something else to note. His character is an athlete and a few minutes into the movie you get to watch his ass as he does naked stretches before a run. His ass is worth the price of admission alone.

And yeah, I'll admit it, I'm wondering what Voight looks like naked. Sue me.

Oh late 80’s / early 90’s films were the best. I remember monkey shine. I just went and watched the trailer, yeah Jason looked good back then but he still looks good. Really aged well.

His voice is so raspy because he had a tub down his throat that he just pulled out.

He was intubated ( tube into trachea to breathe) and he says he kept pulling it out.
His voice is so cool anc he is sooooo hot at this age now.
I tuned in a few times to see him and starting watching all the eps in order , a few weeks ago.
