You can appreciate the characters, acting and cinematography but it has a very pedestrian pace to it. Also, a lot of things don't make a whole lot of sense. Like the lawyer having so much evidence and yet not using it. Those 2 having sex in open air. The wife cheating 3 times in quick succession but still decide to stay with Kolya.

The lawyer didn't know what he was up against. When he discovered his life is at risk if he continued to help Kolya, he simply caved.
They had sex in open air because they had lust for one another. It's not like these are the first to do this..... They did not however plan on getting caught.
Kolya is a very negative man. He is kind and helpful, but he whines about everything. His friends take advantage of him, and he just happens to have a beautiful wife. But she is bored to death, and only hear his whining every single day for years. No wonder she needs to find some "spirit".
She never intended to leave Kolya. Cheating on someone does not mean you want to leave them. We are creatures of nature, we have needs. And sometimes we give in to our needs, no matter how damaging it can be.
It's one of the most boring films I've ever seen? If that's true pal you haven't seen many movies. What an inane and pointless observation. It was a bleak Kafkaesque microcosm of Russia. You dolt.
sharethe lawyer's evidence was not applicable to the case at hand - he told kolya before the trial began that he would lose the trial. the evidence was only to be used as blackmail afterwards. in a trial, all evidence has to be shown to be tied to the case at hand. so, in other words, evidence of corruption has nothing to do with a mayor using imminent domain to take over a property.
shareit is a bit chaotic in the middle, but it isn't slow paced. There are many characters and a lot of stuff happens - drama stuff, really, metaphors and anything, but believe, I have watched boring dramas and this isn't one of them. Actually because of my aversion of slow movies I rarely watch movies outside the mainstream, but this film was very, very interesting to me
