Have you all seen the teaser trailer Berger made for Kickstarter? Starts at about 1:45 in the below:

A few things that jump out:

1. Chiarino is freaking gorgeous.

2. Vignau is the more natural and experienced actor. Chiarino is obviously more green in the clip. But as the final film attests, he has chops and was directed very well. He comes off much edgier and confident in the clip while in the film his vulnerability is palpable.

3. These boys' chemistry is no joke. And sexy as hell.

Thoughts?

1. Agreed - Chiarino is freaking gorgeous- but not in a banal way. His face isn't perfect, his features are irregular, he has beautiful eyes.

2. Vignau maybe the more technically superior actor but Chiarino has a wonderfully expressive face, with the weight of the world on his shoulders one moment, and dreamily animated when reminiscing about childhood memories the next. In the teaser he doesn't seem to be in character as much in the film. Both actors bring Eugenio and Martin to life.

3.Together they do have great chemistry, are both of them straight?

I think Vignau is gay. If you know otherwise, please don't tell me ;). I don't know about Chiarino . There is or was an Instagram account that included a pic of Mateo and some chick on a beach looking like wedding pics. But it coild be ftom anything. I know it's corny but I want to imagine Eugenio and Martin together in BA

No, it isn't corny at all. For me it's part of the appeal of the film. How would life be like once they leave their idyll, and move to Buenos Aires? Especially in light of Eugenios brother's remarks - those ones about Eugenio supporting Martin, or waiting with a hot drink when he returns home from work. I wonder how their story will evolve.

Sometimes you need someone who is different in temperment. They were destined to be togethe, anyway, right? I like to imagine the few hours immediately the film's conclusion ;)
