A rated 'R' Mummy horror movie? Yes please!
I just found out about this today, I'm very excited and I hope it turns out very well.
We haven't had a good Mummy horror movie in a long time now.

yeah, me too. Expecting another reincarnation of Imhotep but it looks dope since this is how a real mummy should act naturally.
shareLooks like it could be good. Even though the format has been done to death
there's more bad examples of this type of film than there are good so lets hope they pull it off.
If you pause the trailer near the end the creature definitely has a dogs/wolfs head like Anubis.
really depends i think if they went the makeup FX route and not overdue the CG it'll be pretty amazing
shareI just hope it's not a waste of potential. Hopefully it's not too predictable either lol
shareEven if that movie is found footage?
shareActually, Russell Mulcahy's "Tale of the Mummy" was rated R (albeit undeservedly). That said, it's not scary. The only way to enjoy it is if you're extremely intoxicated.
