What's the deal with the cat creatures? I mean, first we seen them attacking the characters, but at the end, those cat creatures had started to protect the blondie from Anbuis?

I didn't get this part either at all. Anybody have an explanation?

There were a lot of dead cats near the entrance of Anubis's secret tunnel. So my *ONLY* logical explanation is maybe revenge? Idk..it was silly.
