Tombstone of Charles and Rochelle Matheson

It was vandalized with the words "Black Widow" in red spray paint over the name of Rochelle Matheson. My question is more immediate: why does a living woman even have a gravestone?

The headstone is a joint one for Charles and Rochelle Matheson. It's the kind of headstone that would be used when a couple dies together in a tragedy. Even when a couple shares a tomb, but dies at different times, they wait to carve her name until she actually dies.

Raymond Collins says Miranda can "return," so is there a secret in Rochelle's history where she died and Mr. Collins did something to return her to life?

My grandmother had a headstone while she was alive, for five years, because her husband dies first. It's actually very, very common if you planned to be buried together, if one spouse dies first then you buy the joint headstone, and then wait to die and be buried there. So no, Rochelle most likely never died and just is doing what my grandma did.
