It's not surprising, I wanted it to survive because of Nicole Gale Anderson mainly. Hopefully she'll get another show.

"Don't they know they're making love to one already dead?!"

I ll tried to watch the show but it was kind of too much and a bit of boring.Slow too.So I think something was missing. But Caleb has to go back to PLL no question.

reply

Not surprising. It wasnt very good.

The best things are last

Yes, lets get Caleb back to PLL

reply

See...that's the thing. I don't know if Caleb can go back. There's no way to stay true to the character. Caleb is in Ravenswood to save Miranda. Somehow there's a way to bring her back to life. There's the whole struggle. THey'd have to wrap that up in order for him to come back.

I also read an article on tvguide from the producers and it sure didn't sound like they were giving up on the show. Just kind of a wrong time, wrong place kind of thing. http://www.tvguide.com/News/Ravenswood-Canceled-1077824.aspx

When Mr. Collins let ghost Caleb out they gave human Caleb an out to return to PLL. Miranda doesn't need him anymore.

reply

I doubt that's going to fly for the human Caleb. He's got too much of a sense of responsibility to just leave. He's more the type to join forces and get to know his relative.

reply

Total bummer as I felt the show wa just beginning to find ya footing but considering the ratings I can't say I'm surprised. It would be great if they were able to wrap up their stroylines on PLL this coming Halloween would be ideal.

I got the vibe that it was going to be unexpectedly canceled when I was watching the Pilot...

Films are a manifestation of a hive mind

reply

That sucks. I'm officially done with a ABC family at this point. Every show I have been interested in and watched gets cancelled after the first season. I won't be watching anything on that network again until it's been around a few seasons.

reply

Caleb needs to go back to PLL and he can take Miranda with him

I am now a checkerboard chick!

reply

... Isnt Miranda a ghost? That would make PLL 100% more ridiculous than it already is.

reply

Wow. Thought I read yeah right ratings were doing fairly well. Hmm.

Here's a SOB who didn't understand that this was a mistake
going in,aren't you CJ??????

reply

Was that directed at me? Because I don't get your meaning

reply

Well if a show like this doesn't work out,why do you have to freak out 'bout it???

reply

I wasn't freaking out. Just stating an observation and my annoyance with it. Apparently i cant feel that way. On other networks shows get cancelled that i like but there are others that i watch and are renewed. On this one anything i have liked has not gotten past one season. Why do you feel the need to give me a hard time about it? It was one comment. It's not like I'm writing multiple posts saying the same thing.

They'll have Caleb wake up on PLL and say he just had the worst dream ever. Then say that every time we saw Hannah on Ravenswood it was part of Caleb's dream. The real reason Caleb went to Ravenswood was to help his dad out because he moved there. Everything else involving ghosts and such were all in Caleb's head.

reply

I cant say Im surprised by this, and if it wasn't a shock to myself or others, it shouldn't have come as a shock to the show itself. Knowing this, it should have had at least some of the issues resolved.

Now the question that REALLY matters is what happens to Caleb now? There are a few ways they can go about this.

1: Caleb goes back to Rosewood and tells Hanna everything is going to be fine in Ravenswood. Miranda and crew have ghost Caleb to help them.

2: Caleb returns to Rosewood and mentions nothing and we try to write this out of our minds.

3: Caleb is on PLL wakes up in the insane asylum. Everything that happened in Ravenswood was a dream. 'A' drugged him on the bus to Ravenswood and he was found wandering the woods and talking about ghost and curses in another town.

Im sure there are other options but hey, they don't give us much to work with. I liked Ravenswood, sad to see it get axed, especially because I thought they were really finding their groove in the last couple episodes.
