Don't go for the ratings, watch it if you 'LOVE' movies.

That's all I want to say, if you're looking for 2 hours of entertainment then you are at a wrong place. This movie will not please everyone since it is made for people who "live" movies as depicted in the three stories. Go for it if you loved "Nouvo Cinema Paradiso".
Don't watch it if you're expecting a popcorn movie with random dance numbers and a 40 year old man playing a college student.

No Signature. Deal with it.

I love movies and I didn't visit the multiplex expecting a popcorn movie with random dance numbers (though there is one at the end). But, overall the movie does not satisfy the tagline of celebrating 100 years of Indian Cinema. Its not worth watch. Only Dibakar Banerji and Anurag Kashyap's short make any sense. And for Karan Johar if he really want to make a film on gays then he should learn to respect them. His portrayal was absurd and he owes an apologies to the gay community. Throughout the film, the character shouts that he is not a chakka, which he is not, but Karan portrays him as loose character. No sir, they have their self-esteem.

Overall, rubbish.

I loved the movie!I found each of the pieces in the anthology very intelligent.
And I wish more Indians inculcated a liking for such movies and unconventional endings, not just happy ones. They are just stories after all. Well acted,well-directed.

@ghosh-rajarshi41 : Maybe saying that the movie was a homage to 100 years of Indian cinema attached too much expectation to it. And I don't think the KJo movie portrayed gays in a bad light at all. It just showed that they are like any other people we come across. The hot girl in the office, the dude in the cafeteria, anybody who can set hearts aflutter. And 'chakka' - he said that once,in the beginning. And if gays take offence at that, think how the chakka community would feel? :)
