Tribute To Heroes Clips

The one thing I did like about the overall dull telecast was the "Tribute To Heroes" clips. It was almost perfect. I saw...

The Avengers characters (Iron Man, Thor, Hulk & Cap)
The Ghostbusters
Indiana Jones
Wolverine, Storm and Jean Grey
John Wayne's True Grit
Errol Flynn's Robin Hood
George Bailey
Rocky
Mr. Miyagi (Karate Kid)
Inigo Montoya (Princess Bride)
Batman
James Bond
Luke Skywalker
John McClane
Terminator
Gladiator
Spartacus

Who else?

My only complaint is I wish they had used Christopher Reeve's Superman and Raimi's Spider-Man instead of the current below average efforts.

Was Clint Eastwood's Will Munny a hero???

reply

It was good but too weighted with recent films.

reply

Agreed. Did they even show Christopher Reeve? Michael Keaton?

reply

EXACTLY what I thought. John Wayne should have been more heavily featured.

John Wayne should have been more heavily featured.

No doubt about it.

I loved it as well. Here you can rewatch it. Bad quality though.

it was okay I didn't like how it showed some of the same ones over and over and then didn't show some of the old ones

reply

More older ones would have been nice.

Mr. Smith Goes To Washington, Gary Cooper's Sergeant York & Gable's Rhett Butler?

Why could they show many James Bonds but not Reeve's Superman?

Princess Bride!

Nan Adams, age twenty-seven. She was driving to California; to Los Angeles. She didn't make it.

Jack Sparrow.

"Clint Eastwood's Will Munny a hero?" absolutely!
Would have liked to see Decker from Blade Runner in there too.

reply

Why do you think so? "Murderer of women and children."

reply

I'd like to see Robin Williams' teacher character from DPS added.
