Energy In Depth Funded By Encana, Halliburton etc.

The source(s) that Roblov1 and LordObama are placing so much weight in are from Energy in Depth.

You might want to consider the source, then.

Energy in Depth

XTO is a funder of Energy in Depth (EID), a pro-oil-and-gas drilling industry front group formed by the American Petroleum Institute, the Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA) and dozens of additional industry organizations for the purpose of denouncing legislation proposed by Colorado U.S. Rep. Diana DeGette to regulate underground hydraulic fracturing fluids.[10]

EID is also funded by the El Paso Corporation, Occidental Petroleum, BP, Anadarko, Marathon, EnCana, Chevron, Talisman, Shell, API, the Independent Petroleum Association of America, Halliburton, Schlumberger and the Ohio Oil and Gas Association.[11]

Energy in Depth (EID) is a pro-oil-and-gas drilling industry front group formed by the American Petroleum Institute, the Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA) and dozens of additional industry organizations for the purpose of criticizing the documentary "Gaslands", their latest attempt being a documentary produced by a political attack ad agency for EID, the ironically titled "Truthland"[1] which was exposed as a gas industry infomercial[2] as soon as it was released. The domain for the website promoting the film —Truthlandmovie.com — is owned by gas driller Chesapeake Energy.[3]

These propoganda movies against fracking are funded by oil rich Arab nations. Whats your point.

Can you refute the facts presented with anything other than retread obfuscation, propaganda and talking points? Who's funding you?

reply

Yeah, I'll let EID do it, with FACTS:

Photos of wells near the ones in Gasland which are supposed to have been turned into flamethrowers "by fracking" which, indeed, show FLAMING water wells... except that they are from 2003 and 2005, before they began fracking in that area.

Awww... did I burst your widdle bubble with a simple fact? Too freaking bad.

This hasn't been a secret for months. Note that comments for most, if not all, "EnergyinDepth" YouTube infommercials are Off. So much for open debate. Clearly, Big Oil's modus operendi continues to be, "Obfuscate, divide and silence".
