please please please .. don't copy season 1 of the original

I am HUGE fan of 24. I have seen some seasons multiple times!
I was so looking forward to Indian 24 but the promos look like it's gonna be same story.
They even have a character played by Mandira Bedi that looks like Nina Myers

Please don't do that!!! Copy the concept but please don't copy the Story!

I really don't think the story is copied. Yes, the characters are uncanny to the fullest, but the story is about the assassination of a PM-to-be. As of now, it is very, very good!

Which sounds pretty similar to the assassination attempt on a candidate who is aiming to be president. More than a little similar lol.

Too bad it was very uncanny. The eventually ended up copying almost everything.

Are this dude retarded? Each and every scene is almost copied, since when have bollywood aka copywood done anything original?

24 is my all time favorite series and anil pardesi kapoor is destroying it. Hope anil dies before more episodes.

Agreed that everything was copied. But for people (unlike us) who haven't watched the original, it is still a breakthrough. And Anil Kapoor is accepting that he has adapted it scene-by-scene, then why the hate?

24 is one of my favorite shows, so I will probably watch it. Any more 24 is good for me. And I'm glad the people in India get to see it, especially if they haven't seen the original stuff.

The thing is, Bob, it's not that I'm lazy, it's that I just don't care.

"24 IN INDIA"
by Dane Youssef

Well...

You were right. They didn't really have to use virtually EXACTLY the same scripts! I know they didn't want to mess with success (dare I say perfection) , but... you want there to be some degree of difference, don't you? Dare I say "surprise"?

Why don't they just run the American version with subtitles? They very-well may as well...

I know India wants to see their own people starring in their own movies. But couldn't they try making their own. Something a little more... theirs. I still wish that this was more of a spin-off than a TOTAL RE-MAKE.

But there are... some differences. It takes place in India. And... The "Nina Myers" isn't a mole and a turncoat.

"Jack" and "Nina" have a close personal relationship... like most of those sporadic relationships. You know... Mulder and Scully. Max and 99...

You get the idea...
