Another Indian copy inspired by Hollywood . After having watched original series you will find it nowhere near it. Instead of copying with the same theme only Aneel should have come up with his own innovation. This show is said to be made with huge budget so rather than making Hindi version with same exact copy they could've on aired original 24 with hindi dubbing with no budget that would've been much appreciated, so people who've watched original series this is a disappointment for them.

yeah exactly even the acting is not up to the mark. moreover with more gud actors they should have come up with their own story with same theme rather than this copy of original series.

What were you expecting, its an official remake. I haven't seen the english 24 yet(except the pilot episode), but this show is leagues above anything else on Indian television.

you might be right that this is official remake, but as you said yourself you haven't seen the original one after watching the original one you'll be agreed what i said. The thing is that if this is a high budget show then instead of making a lame copy indian industry should have come up with their own ideas too. so far this effort seems just another bogus indian copy.

as per indian television standards this is by far the best show ever! and there is a difference between copy and inspired... it is clearly stated when the show starts tht 24 (indian series) is inspired by the US version.
Hats off to them for making it such a griping show!
Also, haters... name one indian show which is as sensible as this one!!! be it fiction or realty serials.. all of them make no sense! but this one is so well made that one cannot believe that it is made in india.. they have put in great efforts in making this series.
ofcourse the western cinema/television shows are way advanced in shooting and technology.. but one should see the amount of hard work that is gone in making the indian version, instead of just labeling it as a Copy!!

"name one indian show which is as sensible as this one!!! be it fiction or realty serials.. all of them make no sense! but this one is so well made " thats my point this is far better from the indian perspective cuz indian tv channels make a copy best only. the other point is which u might haven't noticed in my opinion with a high budget show atleast shud have come up with your own story rather than exact copy cat, theme could've been copied.

it is very easy for u to call it a copy cat story!!! but it is not!! it is very easy to trash talk abt other people..
i seriously do not understand the mind of u negative people!!! learn the difference between an inspiration and a carbon copy.. the way u r putting it.. as if each and every dialogue is ditto copied from the original series!!
FYI this show was made in less than half the amount of what the US ppl made in… so i think for season 1 hats off to anil kapoor and his team for putting in such great efforts and bringing in the first sensible indian series!!

In your own words, you state it's inspired by a U.S. series. So shouldn't it be the first Indian remake of a sensible American series? 

I'd say India has a quite a few sensible TV Series. To name a few

3. Comedy Nights with Kapil (2013 TV Series)
4. Kaun Banega Crorepati (2000 TV Series)
5. Rendevouz with Simi Garewal (1999 TV Series)

Seriously just curious; what shows are remade British shows? I've watched some Brit shows here, mainly on Public Broadcasting stations, but I don't know any of our own that are remakes.

Also, this thread is about copying '24', not just remaking it.
