This show started out with a lot of potential

Now it's just gone down hill. I was hoping for this show to be decent and it started out well, but it almost feels like the writers have lost it. Episodes lately have started out interesting like the one with the fog and the one about the tonsils to all just end up in some weird rushed kind of ending like with the fog turning out to just be some ghost of a girl trying to call her mom and the tonsils ending.....that one was just bizarre. Take the recent vampire episode for example from the "vampires" not even really having fangs to the badly done fight scene near the end. It's gotten a bit childish, ridiculous, cheap, and poorly executed already even for a network like The Hub. The title "Spooksville" doesn't even fit the show much anymore. It's more weird than it is spooky or scary in the least bit.

Hopefully, we still have The Haunting Hour to watch.

I still like it, but they really need to calm down with the episodic episodes. Get back to the overarching story line.

Ever since Adam's mother came back, instead of the constant aura of mystery and spookiness, we've had one-shot stories and cliched teen show situations, like camping trips and Watch getting bullied. And where's Ann? (Will we ever find out why she screamed at that painting?)

I think after their first batch of episodes, when they saw the show was popular, they felt they had to rush and put out a bunch of new ones, and it shows.

Acceler8 I agree with you 100%. They've gotten lazy and are rushing everything. Half the stuff they've done in recent episodes doesn't even make any sense now or are just random/pointless missed opportunities. Take the last episode for example: What the hell was that with Adam and his driving instructor? It literally came out of nowhere and left like that. They could've done something really interesting with that. That would've been spookier than almost anything they've done so far on this show. But no, instead we get a clichéd (as you said) storyline with Watch getting bullied, befriending Frankenstein's monster, and doing that trope of sadly having to let him go. And like you said again, they completely ditched the stuff involving Ann. Seriously, what are they doing with this show?
