The lead girl (Sally) is very unlikeable

At least to me she is. Both episodes she was annoying the hell out of me. It's like she's overly prideful at how much weird stuff she knows is going in the town. She comes off very arrogant, snobbish, and bitchy as if she thinks of herself as a big deal just because of what her and Watch (the nerdy guy) do or know about in the town. I mean at one point she's basically jealous at the way the new boy looks at the other girl at the mansion. I hope she develops better because this first impression makes me not like her at all and it doesn't help that she's one of the lead characters.

The actress is really good, I thought. She actually tones Sally down quite a bit from the character in the books, book Sally is weird, definitely prideful and always saying bizarre contradictory things and always saying remarks to make Adam somewhat uncomfortable.

I thought the actress was fine in her acting ability, I can see why the character turned you off but the actress portrayed Sally as she was meant to be.

Well if Sally is meant to be a bitch then fine, good job to the actress. But I'm not a fan of her at all

Yeah, I think it actually is the actress. She needs to tone it down. She's a little over the top
