could not stand the camera work
I don't find the constant movement of the camera hip, I find it distracting. It makes me look at the tv more than the screen. I'll be glad when this dated style of filmmaking goes away.

shareI have to agree because while shaky cam doesn't bother me most times for some reason it was very pronounced on this show. A shame too because I truly enjoyed it and even though I know an active camera didn't lead to the show's cancellation I can say that I'm certain it didn't help either.
'Cause I'm Black you think I did it?
Absolutely agreed. I think the only thing I didn't like about this short-lived series was the constant shaky camera work and the flashback scenes in every episode that really just slowed down the entire pace of the show.
I really don't think NBC gave this show a fair chance. I get that the ratings were low but I feel like if they had at least given it a full season, they could have ironed out some of the more rough edges.
I liked the storylines, I liked the actors and the chemistry they had with each other. . .I've seen a lot worse last a lot longer.
