Paul and Jenny's marriage. They were so funny and weird in season one and then in season two they got super depressing.

Agreed. I only watched this for Judy Greer and Jenny slate, and the lack of slate really killed this season for me.

 I apologize for any spelling/grammar mistakes. I'm on my phone 90% of the time.

I agree. However, it was Jenny Slate that moved on to another project. The show just did what they could do with that situation. It's really sad since their marriage was also my favorite part in season 1.

I think she saw the writing on the wall. The main characters weren't anyone who we could relate to - at least in the sense of how self-destructive they were / being 40, having kids and still getting wasted all of the time.

At some point you have to grow up.

This is a much more appealing take on it than 'This Is 40' for example.
