Guess I'm the first post..if anyone sees this..question about the ending

Didn't understand what happened when the chick came out of the basement at the end..The dad (Bill) says something about having one more..cripple? (I think thats what he said)...down in the basement but she wasn't going anywhere..then the possessed chick comes up..was that the girl's friend or what? Why was she possessed and was this implying she was going to kill the mom and dad or what? Very confusing ending.

This movie is pretty dreadful enough for me to worry about the ending.

He said he had one more girl to dispose of, who turned out to be possesed by the woman in the painting who they had intended on going into their daughter.
