Hmmmmm. You kind of know what to expect from these kind of films but I never laughed out loud once. I kind of "huh"ed a couple of times but it could have been much more funnier than it was.

It was similar tone to the film Black Sheep as you have people turning into Beavers once infected.

You had the obvious "beaver" jokes as well as 2 truck drivers who seem to run over everything they come across. The beavers themselves weren't that impressive. I've seen better stuffed animals in TV adverts.

The cast are OK - none of them are particularly likeable but there acting is above average that they are not too irritating. They start off with some character development but it ends up the same as every other teen in the cabin kind of film. Theres two characters that get cheated on which should create some sympathy but the makers don't make you route for any of them in fact one of them is dead pretty early on. The blonde character turns into a beaver and has her head squashed by the car and the line "I never liked that bitch anyway" never made sense. She was the one being cheated on. To me it came across as callous and not funny!

Also, the infamous dog scene. What should have happened and what would have been funnier is if the dog swam to safety and didn't get eaten, so the joke was on the idiotic characters instead.

I have no problem with silly films but you still need some characters you actually like otherwise it becomes pointless.

I did like the scene after the credits a Zomb - bee going to infect a swarm. How long before we get the film Zombees?
