Why all the negativity?
SnowPiercer was a craptacular movie and it made out with a better star rating???
Thank you. Personally I think it is better than quite a few movies that have received higher star ratings. I think people just like to be mean on the internet.
disjointed 'plot', terrible dialog and lacklustre acting. the script seemed to be just every YAF series cliché taken, jammed together in a haphazard manner and then loosely held together. also, the inconsistency of showing skyark in space then having it visible from the ground with clouds behind it (ie it was inside earth's atmosphere) drove me bloody crazy.
with snowpiercer, the plot was coherent (though the central premise possibly didn't stand up to too much scrutiny), the dialogue was workable, obviously the cast were strong, and for all its faults, the world felt lived-in. with skyark when 13 shadows arrives there and meets the others you don't really get the feeling that these kids have been existing on this place for any length of time, they really need the hunted, beaten down air to them, instead they just seem like the sci-fi Little Rascals
