was the battle for the Skyark? All they did was crawl around in tunnels and have a few, badly done, fights with mutants.
Also, how are they planning on returning to the Skyark without any visible tech on the planet that would allow them even just hopping around like the Wright Flyer?

Skunks mission was to locate the boy with 13 shadows and then rescue him. If you'd watched to the very end you'd have seen the crafts being deployed from the SkyArk to come and rescue them.
but they still weren't battling for skyark, they were battling to survive. battle for skyark sounds like the title for the sequel (that will hopefully not be made)
