Not bad...

Wasn't expecting much after reading comments here, but surprisingly entertaining and suspenseful.

Yes, it's low budget, but apart from a complete lack of explosions and car chases you wouldn't really know the difference.

One small point to make in situations where you take out well-armed soldiers - FFS take their weapons (ALL of them) when you have the opportunity.

Agree with everything you said. We watched it Saturday early morning and it felt better than my gf and I thought it would. The actors were just good enough and the harsh killings in the beginning, gave the rest of the film a good sense of fear.

Low-B yes but not Steven Seagal low-B.

Sequel: Amy with her new wealth, invests in her boyfriends fathers company so that the merger can go through. They get married. Someone kills his father and tries to get money out of the two of them. They get revenge. The end.

Agreed. This movie was much better than the 5.4 rating lead me to believe. It kept my attention throughout and I like that it wasn't a CGI fest. I'd rate this movie a solid 7. Certainly better than a lot of the highly-rated stuff Hollywood has been putting out of late.

I'm not one to commonly criticize the realism of a fictitious film, but some of things that occurred in this movie made no sense it all. For instance, when Kyle and the soldier are walking across the rope bridge and they both fall in the water about 20 feet below... and the soldier is somehow dead? Yet Kyle is perfectly fine? I couldn't figure out what happened there. Also, when Amy shatters her arm and the bone is protruding through the skin, and then she proceeds to engage in a fist fight with a soldier and easily wins. Given that another character had just died from a scratch on her leg that apparently wouldn't stop bleeding, not sure how they got an arm that was nearly severed to stop bleeding while acting like the injury is no big deal.

So you walk up to a "well-armed soldiers" who are trying to shoot you and simply take their guns out of their hands? Flawless plan!
