Don't see this if you want a serious Jobs biopic.

I found this one on Netflix streaming movies. Knowing nothing about it I started watching. Pretty quickly you conclude either (a) it is a very badly made biopic or (2) it is intended to be a funny spoof all the way.

Of course it is (2), made at "Funny or Die." The movie includes names of real people, but as they say in the closing credits "it is all fake, all phoney baloney, none of it is true." It does depict a number of real events in Jobs' life and career, but what they depict is always far from what really happened.

So go into it with that in mind, like an extended pseudo-SNL skit, and you'll probably enjoy it. If you are looking for a somewhat accurate movie of Steve Jobs, then you'd better skip this one.

Even the closing song by Scott Gairdner, "Lighting a Match in the Dark", is funny. He has a certain style, he almost sings well but not quite, in keeping with the rest of the movie.

I enjoyed it. I'll probably see it again.

It was pretty accurate on how he stole from Steve Wozniak and took all the credit for things he never really did. So I thought it was pretty spot on.
