A few laughs, decent transition scenes

"WolfCop" is at times an interesting wacked out wolfman movie with some laughs thrown in, and a sequel arriving next year already! An alcoholic po-po, who would rather down drinks at the local bar while on his shift than get the bad guys experiences something in the woods that allows him to become a wolfman. For a b-movie the transition scenes are pretty good, although towards the end they toned down his look so the actor could move around and say his lines. The violence is bloody as to be expected. WolfCop takes on drug dealers, robbers, graffiti hoodlums, and other supernatural happenings too. I enjoyed it and will make sure to see WolfCop II next year. Rental for sure. ** 1/2 out of 4 stars.

This was a lot better than what I expected, and when I saw what the budget was I couldn't believe it. The effects are great!

If you like movies that are intentionally cheesy but well done and if you like faces ripped straight off, then this is the movie for you. I rated it 6/10 which is very good for a "horror" comedy. I am really looking forward to the next one.

This is a great example of how shot dynamics can make a film. Something is always moving in the frame and the movie would fall flat without it. The humor is also a nice plus. Am I the first to mention that another fine werewolf film, Gingersnaps, was made in Canada?

It was meh for me. I was expecting something at least on the level of Hobo with a Shotgun or Father's Day and yeah, it was pretty much in the same vein as those movies, but it felt much more toned down and nowhere near as fun, lots of unnecessary expository dialogue and not enough action. I can excuse that, because the transformation scenes, especially for such a low budget production were amazing and I can tell that both the filmmakers and the actors have lots of talent, but it just wasn't that fun.

I thought it was fairly boring to be honest...

I didn't find this very entertaining. A couple good parts, but much of it didn't work for me and it actually felt longer than it was. 5/10 is my rating.
