Awesome and original game!!

I'm about to finish this game (just a few things left to collect), and I think it is one of the best game I've tried in a long time! It's awesome to get back to those old school game with mysteries, difficult puzzles, simple but cool-looking visual, a good game-play, and an original concept! This game is a mix of old school gaming and new technologies, and we obtain something unique, made with passion and the love of video games, and we obtain something simple, fun, a product of high quality.

Recommended to any gamers from the old days, when games were not playing by themselves, when puzzle were difficult and had no hints or nothing to help you solve them (today's game are too easy, it's almost if somebody is constantly holding our hand and helping us go through everything).

fawn_jane critique of the game (called Overated) seems a bit close minded to me. (sorry if I bring that here, but since we can't reply to critique, this is the only way to answer some of the thing that were said...)
He/she says; "A platformer should NOT have you pulling out a pen and paper every two minutes."

Ok ... why is that? Why not having to take notes to solve problems?
... and who is to decide what a game should or should not be? It is the game developers who decides, then we can like it or not, but we can't come and say "They should have given the game more action, made it more like a Zelda or Metroid game". It sound a bit immature to me to expect a game to be more like what we already like. If he/she like Metroid, then he/she should play Metroid. Fez is not an action game, period. We realize it after 10 minute of gameplay, we can't finish it and say it should be more like Metroid.

While playing this game, we have to know that the "they" he/she refers to is in fact two guys. The entire game was made by two guys, which is a totally incredible accomplishment, considering that major studios employs sometime as many as 300 people for a big production (like Assassin's Creed for instance). To know more about the game production, watch "Indie Games: The Movie". Their story is quite unbelievable.

I recommend the game to anybody nostalgic of the old games!
