Was anyone surprised at the winner based on the Q&A?

I am happy the brothers won. I was rooting for them and feel they deserve to win.

But based on how Kelsey got a lot of questions like Sarah last year and Phil was HORRIBLE at answering questions I thought it was a Trainwreck. Even Nick wasn't the greatest at answering questions.

But based on the questions, the things the jurors said while voting. I really thought Kelsey would have won.

reply

Yes, when Maddy said, "I never thought I'd be doing this", I really thought she meant she was voting for Kelsey.

And didn't Mitch say he would vote for any of the three that made it to the end?

reply

Phil was HORRIBLE at answering questions

Nick wasn't that great himself. When Cassandra asked them what was the biggest lie they told in the game, Nick's reply was "the first two minutes of the game" when he had to "pretend" he didn't know Phil. Pretending isn't the same as lying so I thought that was a dumb response.

reply

But their plan was to lie about it, until BB sold them out. That was his point.

reply

I don't even understand HOW they even won!

I always felt like they were flying under the radar and, as someone said on the show, always doing what others wanted them to do so as not to "get blood on their hands".

I guess they were good at comps, but they never really stood out to me as "great" players.

I must have dozed off or left the room whenever they came on-screen...

And I would've thought that Raul and Jared would have been figthing for votes for Kelsey in the Jury House...

It goes back to my opinion that tis not how good a player is. It's how many dumb mistakes the house made. The hide never nominated them and the first half of the game The Brothers, Nikki and Tim were never in conversations to be nominated. All 3 just sat pretty.

I just feared Kelsey was gonna win because last year Sarah kept getting most of the questions and ended up winning. And the answers the final 2 were given really was a Trainwreck.

reply

Last year Bobby and Bruno were supposed to ask Godfrey questions, but they directed them at Sarah because they were bitter and wanted her to fail at answering them. That's why she got so many more questions than Godfrey.

reply

I've read about that. But I'm assuming they used the same questions for Godfrey directed at sarah ans not asking Sarah a totally different question. Unless they had something out of the top of their heads. People don't realize but they do rehearsals during the day like any tv show. The one liners they say is all rehearsed.

Just like Topaz had that "150%" line at finale. She mentioned how she rehearsed it earlier in the day.

I guess it was a combination of winning comps and everybody hating Kelsey. I don't see them being good players. They had the advantage of being two people. As they said, they could each go out and make friends with different people.

All the jury wanted to hear was for Kelsey to own up to her game and she had it. She should have KILLED the brothers, but she answered every question in the worst way possible and she tried to act like she played this loyal game. THE JURY DOESN'T WANT TO HEAR THAT. The brothers while also answered horribly at least got their main points across and I thought their end speech was actually perfect for them. I wanted Kelsey to win over them, but after listening to her answers she deserved the loss. She clearly didn't understand the game in the end.
