Much unnecessary hate.

It is a totally different show from the original. The original was great, it's gone, get over it. That being said, I have laughed out loud many times at this show. Their self deprecating style about all the complaining is great. The 4th wall, the wallyt being their only fan, the bottle episode where robin complains the writers and animators are being lazy by just showing flashbacks, references to classic pop culture (raven as Marissa tomei in my cousin vinny was hysterical). Most people who hate this show I imagine haven't given it a decent chance, or were just huge fanboys of the first imagining(who refuse to give it a chance)

This show makes "cartoon fans" rage and foam at the mouth so that alone makes me want to watch it.

The new Powerpuff Girls show causes the same reaction among "the fans" so I'll have to check that out too.

I found some good episodes in this show and for the most part, it's a mix between bad, mediore, and meh. But to me, I just shrug it off and pretend it doesn't exist unless I see the recently episodes.

It's still one of CN's worst airing shows right now, though. TTG is THE reason why I have to watch other cartoons online (or sometimes On Demand, if they have certain episodes available). How many times must they air it so much? Kinda like SpongeBob taking over Nickelodeon, I have to rely on websites like KissCartoon to watch their other shows instead.

So even though there's new episodes this week, I'm pretty much ignoring its existence (and trying my best to avoid those annoying commercials).

It's not one of CN's worst! It's one of CN's BEST!

Clarence and uncle grandpa are at the bottom. Then there's adventure time, steven universe, we bare bears, regular show, and gumball which are all amazing. Then there's powerpuff and teen titans, which are great. So I guess you're right, but only because CN happens to be running platinum shows right now and ttg is only gold.

P.s. Thank Christ they got rid of Johnny test.

At the same time, they also frequently take blows at critics. Like the Island Adventure finale when they ask why anyone would watch a show just to complain.

It rubs the butter on it's skin, y'all.

People don't hate this show because they "haven't given it a chance" (that argument doesn't even make sense), they hate it because they feel it's awful and unfunny.

Trust me, I did give this show a chance, but when I did, I was absolutely horrified and disgusted with what I saw!

- They turned Starfire into a vain, self-centered bitch.
- They turned Raven into an insulting Brony stereotype, and an insulting goth girl stereotype.
- They turned Cyborg into a wreckless, obnoxious frat boy.
- They turned Beastboy into a disgusting pervert obsessed with Raven's bare legs.

- And worst of all...they turned Robin into an abusive, misogynistic bully!!

Teen Titans was one of my favorite shows as kid, because all the main characters were endearing and relatable, and this show completely erases everything that made them likable or interesting!

That's actually why I like it. I love how they turned Robin into a psychotic creep.

I see the show a spoof of a show I like and I love it for that. It reminds me a lot of Robot Chicken (another show I really like that makes fun of characters I grew up watching.)

Wasn't that kind of an inside joke anyways? Dick Grayson left, but there were different stories about why he left. Even though it's not canon, a lot of people like the theory he went a little crazy later, and some people thought he took the role of The Joker, later on, and teamed up with him in "The Killing Joke", specifically beating second Robin with a crowbar. Not true, but inside joke.

I don't know what show you're watching, cause Starfire is, like, utterly, naively sweet. And Raven's a brony cause her VA also works on the pony show. It's just a goof, it's not worth getting frothingly mad about. But then, neither is feminism, so YMMV

they didn't "turn" any character into anything. it's a completely different show that is a send-up of comic book superheroes, including themselves. yeesh.

my 7 year old and 4 year old love this show, and it's a lot better than most of the horrible kids shows they watch.

reply

They're just more extreme versions of their original characters. This show is fecking hilarious. Robin is so neurotic it makes for some great laughs. CRANE KICK!

My 4 year old niece loves this, so I've been watching it and finding it amusing as well.

I used to rate it a 1, but after watching a few other episode, it started to grow on me. It's a guilty pleasure for sure.
