Talky BioTech Propaganda

I love the prospect of genetic advancements as much as the next Scifi buff, but this film reeked of intellectual masturbation. The filmmakers got so excited about preaching their genetic gospel, via the talking head of the main character, they forgot that movies are meant to entertain not preach. More show, less tell. They tried to disguise the talkiness in the form of news reports and vhs tapes, but having one character sit in a bedroom and watch hours of documentary footage and newsreels does not an entertaining movie make. So yeh, the underlying moral premise and story are highly interesting, but this one needs to be redone visually, instead of as a dissertation.
