Good movie, however....

I thought this was a pretty good movie but that God awful song with no tune at all is a mystery to me. Not only is the song bad but the singing is equally as bad.

Are you talking about the song played during the credits - "We Used to Be Friends" by the Dandy Warhols?

It's the original show's theme song and fits perfectly with the way the series started - with Veronica ostracized by all her old friends.

The song was even referenced with an in-joke in an episode where Veronica says, referring to a missing girl who she was asked if she knew, "We used to be friends...a long time ago" and then the theme immediately starts.

I personally love the song and, as I was a fan of the Dandy Warhols before the show started, I had already had this song downloaded.

I also really love the song that's played during Veronica and Logan's love scene - "Prosthetic Love" by Typhoon and the song played during the after-party - "Stick Up" by Max.

If you're talking about another song, please let me know which one.

Fine but it made mostly no sense after the first few episodes of season 1 and regardless the "melody" and awful singing don't do the song any favor.

Err, how often do you see shows change their theme song mid-season?

Hell, I'm still shocked Veronica Mars switched it up come Season 3. That said, it switched networks which is moooost likely the reason
