Why are the triplets dark-haired in this?

Why are they dark-haired instead of blonde like in the original? Not that I have a problem with it I'm just wondering.

It's because they wanted to add some differences to the live action from the animated film. If they were blonde, then it will be too much of a copy.

Gaston's song was different too. I was waiting for the "every last inch of me's covered with hair." That would have been gross in live action, LOL.
