Lyric changes

I don't know if anyone else has written about this, if they have sorry.

I'm not bashing the movie, I actually enjoyed it. I was just really disappointed that some of the lyric changes were a few of my favourite. I understand why they didn't include the end part of " "Gaston" when they were planning to commit Maurice because of when the song happened in the movie, but "No one plots like Gaston, takes cheap shots like Gaston...." really set up the character for me.

The other part that saddened me a little was in the Mob Song. I think I read somewhere that they changed the lyrics for Gaston to be more of a demagogue at that point, and the new lyrics work for that quite well, but losing "We don't like what we don't understand, in fact it scares us" was a real loss in my opinion as it's the basis for most mobs anywhere.
