In your honest opinion who played the Beast better

Robbie Benson or Dan Stevens.

With temperament it has to go with Benson. But I did love Dan Stevens' take on the Beast as well.

Both played him very differently. Benson's Beast is like a socially awkward kid trying to navigate his first relationship while Stevens is more worldly and cynical. However, the CGI used for Stevens' beast was horrible.

I liked Dan being the older more worldly Beast. He was a great foil or companion to Emma's Belle. That being said I don't like the horns he wore. It make me think of a caricature of the devil.

I'm not a huge fan of the animated version but Robbie Benson by a landslide.

Robbie Benson's Beast is unforgettable. I don't even remember Dan Stevens's Beast.

I think both are good even though the original is classic. However, the cgi lips on the beast were way too human and monkey looking. Very distracting!

Yeah, Robbie Benson got a better roar that Stevens just can't do. I also agree the CGI on this beast and the other characters was not very good.
