Very surprising news: Disney revealed yesterday that there will be a second season of Mickey Mouse! "Cable Car Chaos" will actually be the season opener, leaving the first season with 18 episodes instead of the reported 19. There will also be an increased focus on Minnie.

April -- June 2014

Apr. 11: "Cable Car Chaos"

Mickey and Minnie must stop a runaway cable car as it careens through the city's famous streets.

Apr. 25: "Fire Escape"

Mickey attempts to rescue Minnie from her burning apartment building.

May 23: "Eau de Minnie"

Minnie's new perfume enchants an entire city.

June TBA: "The Boiler Room"

Mickey must face a monster living in the basement of Minnie's apartment

I do hope there's an episode that takes place in Singapore, Thailand or Myanmar. Either of those Asian countries deserves so much recognition in the Mickey Mouse series, as much as Japan and China have!

I also hope there are crossover episodes with characters from Phineas and Ferb, Gravity Falls, Wander Over Yonder and Darkwing Duck. I even hope there's an episode, in which Mickey Mouse wreaks havoc on the most iconic scene of Lilo and Stitch (Serve Stitch right for crashing into scenes from the Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and the Lion King!)

Given that the shorts are usually about three minutes long and have the contemporary look of the 1930s-50s artistically, I think that having crossovers with other Disney shows doesn't work.

I wish I could tell you, but I don't know why. Also, I don't have neither an iPad nor an iPhone!
