Omg the scene..

With the one girl saying we don't have to be buddies. Her line delivery was horrible. Goodness.

"Live Today Like You'll Die Tomorrow"

reply

This is how I feel about every line so far.

"I don't patronize bunny rabbits."

The one guy rubbing the girls back.. Like what?..

"Live Today Like You'll Die Tomorrow"

reply

I mean...it says it's reality TV, but I can't help but think these kids are playing at acting. It just seems so forced and ridiculous.

"I don't patronize bunny rabbits."

reply

I think they are, the acting is just so bad. It's not natural.

At least Laguna Beach, which I actually was rewatching some of the first season today didn't seem like this.

"Live Today Like You'll Die Tomorrow"

reply

I also re-watched Laguna Beach and although a lot of it is set-up, at least it has some semblance of reality. This show is just way off.

Would I rather be feared or loved? Easy, both. I want people to be afraid of how much they love me.

reply

They're real people, but obviously it's staged. I don't know about scripted, but definitely everything is staged. What's hilarious is that they're not even trying to make it seem real, nor do I think anyone involved in the show even tries to call it reality. It's pretty pathetic.

I agree. Cat smiles when she talks regardless of how she is supposed to be feeling. She was pissed at her mom but she smiled when she was talking to her. Her mom was smiling while she was supposed to be upset at her daughter wasting her life. Cat was being "reamed out" by a very unfeeling no affect Ben and she was smiling while denying saying anything. No one in their right mind would really act like that when they are fighting with a friend. That douchebag Jon was smiling through every one of his lines too. I feel like I am watching the rejects of Drama School attempting to act. This show is so friggin bad!

reply

I'm watching the first episode right now and I'm considering tearing my eyes out or throwing out the TV.
Whyyyy would someone hire such painfully bad actors?

I thought you knew the drill, it's kill or be killed.

reply

I have a tendency to smile no matter what. A small fraction of people are like that, though I have a rueful kind of smile when sad and a sardonic kind when angry. Even some actual actors are like that on actual shows, I notice Junior on Under the Dome, Dominic in Mistresses are the same way. Ben Kingsley is the most famous 'permanent' smiler I've seen

"what is your major malfunction numbnuts?!!"

reply

I found it believable in tonight's episode Jon thought it was no big deal at all dating both I think Jackie and Emily.
Daniel told the woman that Jon went out with for the first time either Jackie or Emily. Jon's explantion is he's not going to get tied down when the woman he was daing for I think two weeks talked to him about this, also pushed him in the water.

Jon is pissed off that Daniel told one of the women what he was doing believing he broke the guy code, also that it's his fault.
