Great story, not happy one


The tag line about him being an escape artist led me to think this was going to be more an adventure type documentary with a touch of fun thrown in. It's not. A guy steals his own tools (They were his late fathers, they were in probate) from his stepmother. He gets 4 years, does crazy stuff like escape attempts, and due to all the time added to his sentence, is still in prison 30 years later. He's smart in some ways, like how to build stuff and how to outsmart a pool, but has no social skills, and has some mental issues. The people on parole board came off as sick bastards.

They stick together. Bureaucrats-20-30yrs on they back each other up-different names same BS...without these people in prison,they'd be out of work...Too many people are kept employed by the prison system.Thats why its broke and that's why it won't get fixed

Agreed. He must be released immediately and compensated for all he's been forced to endure. If this is America, then *beep* it.
