Mansfield's work schedule

I know this board is probably dead since the show has long been cancelled, but I just re-watched the series and noticed something. Mansfield's depicted as very driven and hard working, but in the first episode he says that he works three days a week. Granted, his idea of a 9-to-5 workday seems to be 9 am until 5 am the next day, but he was never shown taking a day off while everyone else was at the office. A good episode could have been one of those days when he's not there and what Brody, Threepeat, & the rest of the upstairs people do in his absence. Are they more relaxed or do they work just as hard? Do they compete to be in charge? Does Mansfield watch them on his phone via cameras in the office while he's poolside somewhere?
