Descendants, a contemporary live-action adventure-comedy, digs into the Disney vault of beloved characters -- and well-known villains -- to introduce a modern-day generation of teenagers (the "descendants") who question the evil that's always been inside. Production begins in the spring for a 2015 premiere.


I actually like the premise. It's something different and I'll be curious to see how seriously Disney Channel will take this.

I can imagine it being the only movie in 2015 so it gets a huge budget. I think for such a movie, it deserves one.
