I just noticed this, but Team Swift seems devoid of personalities while Team Hot Doggers has it in spades.

Team Hot Doggers:
Will- Champ with a past
Kayla- Athletic glamour girl
Sam- Loveable idiot
Dink- Nerdy weatherman

Team Swift:
Nick-
Skye-
Mike-
Burke-
...Driven to win

Okay, maybe it's not a huge revelation, but it always struck me as interesting. Especially when Sebastian is introducing the team. He introduces three star athletes and "our #1 glamour girl," making her stand out in the team. And when she's kicked off the team, she's replaced by a girl who's only defining trait is "she's the best."

Interesting, isn't it?

Yeah, a lot of the characters weren't very well-developed.

NICK is a douche and SKYE is a mean and competitive girl. MIKE & BURKE are the ones without a personality, but so are SAM & DINK. There's a difference between "personality" and "stock character clasification".

I don't know which movie you were watching. Nick had depth to him. Skye wasn't completely devoid of personality, either.
