I guess that's why the turnover is so high. $28 bucks is probably approaches what a med tech makes in California at a private institution. If being an overworked, underpaid "team player" gets an RN into legal trouble, they won't get the same level of support as docs do; paid admin leave? Yeah no. Heck, even the union often leaves nurses high and dry. However, the work experience seemed priceless in the old days! Just getting a pass from doing all the crazy paperwork seemed like a dream come true!
