season 2 so bad thats it...unbelivabel

How could season 1 be so great....and season 2 so unbelivabel bad ? its like its a whole new story, but everything jost got really bad, acting sucks, story sucks, plot sucks...there isent one thing thats just watchabel. Im at episode 4 and im done, no more helix for me...its just plain stupid....

reply

Ok. See you next week on here complaining.

reply

I don't agree that season 1 was ''so great''. Helix has been campy stupid fun from day 1. It's pretty consistent, actually.

reply

that may be because english is not my mother tongue, but 'campy stupid fun' really is a good definition. Once you watch this show for what it is, it's really fun to follow.

reply

Ok....mr.genious ? ohhh...sorry...Mr.iknowbetter.... Do you have any ide how stupid you are looking when making a remark like that ?

reply

do you have any idea how stupid you look when you use grammar like that?

reply

^

reply

Don't forget his spelling. Especially in the OP. I love the irony of people that can't construct a sentence berating someone's intelligence.

If you take life too seriously it stops being funny.

reply

Do you have any idea how stupid you look when you call someone retarded for not liking something you like?
Or when you criticise someone's grammar without knowing what capitalisation is?

...or when you wear a hat like that?

You'll tell yourself it's stylish. But then, we tell ourselves a great many things, don't we?

reply

1/10
Entirely too obvious.

reply

YES, a quick, one-line message without using capitalization is exactly the same as what he did.
I guess you always use capital letters when writing a text message or a chat message, for example.

reply

If you can't grasp the irony behind criticising someone's grammar whilst messing it up yourself, I don't know what to tell you, man.
I suggest looking up your third grade English teacher and asking for a refresher course.

Or, alternatively, stop getting working up to the point of calling people retards for making some fairly minor mistakes.

reply

I suggest looking up the difference between not knowing proper grammar and not using capitalization in places it's very common not to use it.

But who the *beep* am I trying to convince here, that *beep* hat makes it obvious you are a pretentious little douche.

reply

Don't understand why you need to be so rude. His username is BrianDK - I'm assuming he is Danish, so English probably isn't going to be his first language. Quite ignorant of you to call someone out on their sentence construction and grammar. Also willing to bet you aren't multi-lingual.

reply

I'm waiting for a big payoff. At this point it better be epic.

reply

Uh, yeah. I think we have lost "campy" for now, although I do give them a few points for producing something that could contain Flight of the Bumblebee AND the OPIE/Mayberry theme song! (This is certainly one of those sentences I would have never thought I would utter in an entire lifetime.)

reply

The Andy Griffith theme was so good! It made me very happy, which is good because so much else about Season two is making me very cranky.

reply

Wellllll, I am about to view the latest Helix, which I recorded last night. Sigh. I am almost afraid to watch it for fear that it will be even worse than I expect. BUT, on the other hand, I am one of those people who revel in bad writing simply for it being just that. So, I suppose you might call it a win, even before I watch it. I think what I find most frustrating is that it had all the promise of being slightly edgy/different, and somehow it has turned into a disjointed, bad acid trip in that some of it is almost arty/clever, while the rest being a mess! Anyway, here I go.

reply

I don't think you understand campy.

reply

Yeah, I do actually, but this is really something different. So, to be fair, it does score some points on being unique. I actually want it to return, so that they can pursue their vision without being rushed into cramming so much into the recent finale.

reply

Season 2 is more cloak and daggers mystery. It doesn't mean the show's bad because the audience isn't shock spoon fed everything as we were in season 1.

reply

This season is really bad

reply

I am really tired of people who have no other reason than to come online to complain about a show. TURN OFF THE TV!

I like Helix. Yes, it's a bit campy. Hell, that's what makes me like it. It's not like most other series I've seen on tv.

It's got a great cast, and it doesn't involve zombies, vampires, nor werewolves!

reply

I am enjoying this season as well. I like that there's more going on than a standard "horror" story. I like the change of scenery and the mysteries being revealed at each episode. I never know what to expect. I say to those who are disappointed, stop watching it for Christ's sake, quit wasting your time. Declaring it stupid and yet continuing to watch it? Now, THAT'S stupid.

reply

I really like the show and the new season.

reply

Every episode leaves me wanting more. What else can I possibly ask for in a television show

reply

Doesn't involve zombies you say? That, my friend, depends on your definition of "zombie."

reply

At this point, my faith in Season 2 is almost gone. Every character is being wasted, and this show is going nowhere fast. Did they hire new people to make this season?

Season 1 is much better than Season 2. Hopefully things will improve soon....
