Hope this show isn't turning into Adventure Time

The first episode of season 2 was showing a bit of that show's trademark random for random's sake. I've liked the show's plot progression so far. I don't want to see it sprouting plot concepts at random like tumours.

OTish: That's how Gravity Falls was like. The main plot was absolutely amazing though!
