animation is different i think

I noticed this too. And not in a good way imo.

It's animated by a different company.

I believe I read the first half of the first season (where the animation was really nice) was animated in the USA before moving overseas.

Yes, it is.
I've also noticed this while watching season two.
The characters were more detailed, with more movements and facial expressions.
I decided to look it up and I discovered that there's another studio producing the second season.

Now is a Korean animation house that is making the show.

(Hm... I think that explains why the show got so animesque)
