I'll Tell You Why Frankie Lied, Olivia

... it's because your parents turned the whole "relationship" into something that it wasn't. You even said yourself that he was "just a friend." Your parents tried to push a relationship on y'all/act like y'all were potentially going to be together, & the boy didn't know how to react.
These parents make everything awkward & try to build these relationships up into something that they are not.

So then why block her? Why not just unfriend her and not call her anymore?

I think he wanted to sleep with her and maybe off camera she told him she was pure now. Men generally think that if they know you've had sex before that they automatically get you.

maybe his new girlfriend was psycho and told him to block olivia and not talk to her. i've seen that before. but to me it just seemed like olivias parents really weirded frankie out and maybe hes a bit of a puss so in blocking her he wouldn't have to explain to her when she inevitably asks "why did you unfriend me?!" or they could have also had a fight or something off camera and lifetime wanted to make olivia the saint/victim. maybe he didn't even block her, just because thats what she said doesn't really mean anything.

Actually, I don't think he was ever really that into her. It all seemed so set up and contrived. I think the producers probably asked him to play along for a while, none of it seemed like it ever would have happened on its own.

I thought it was funny the show tried to push the "possible boyfriend" storyline since Frankie seemed obvioualy gay, tbh.

If he was Gay, why push that storyline at all? Why have someone pretend to be someone that they may not be?
