Not very good

What is up with the audio? Low frequency stuff all over and really not needed.

Interviewer nods head ridiculously throughput q&a.

Opening credits scene has nothing to do with the title subject. Vampires have nothing to do with Superman.

To Jon Peters. You and Tim Burton lost the right to make superhero movies after Batman and all thw abominations that followed.

Did you watch this on YouTube? It sounds and looks great on DVD.

The sound was especially bad during the Dan Gilroy segment. They should have leveled out the volume more knowing he's a loud speaker.

Overall the entire doc was an unholy mess.

reply

I couldn't figure out if Gilroy was actually yelling or if it was the sound mixing in post-production. It was amateurish and distracting.

I noticed the sound for the interview with Burton was really poor and echoey. A friend who's a sound engineer also pointed out that the mix was bad with music often drowning out dialogue.

Have to disagree with you though on Burton's Batman movies ;)

I really enjoyed watching the Jon Peters interview, and all the stuff related to Kevin Smith's writing (since I saw Kevin talk about the experience and found it really entertaining). However, the great detail on set and prop design and such bored me quite a bit.
